Redesign of Windows PC Optimization Tool
Role: Senior Product Designer (End-to-End)
Redesign a legacy application suffering from inconsistent navigation, outdated UI, and poor information architecture that confused users and hindered core functionality.
Old Design Problems
Unclear structure - confusing categories, each page looked like a separate project
Outdated visuals - old-fashioned interface, poor visual hierarchy
Complex scanning - unclear how to perform quick computer cleanup
Missing descriptions - users didn't understand function purposes
Confusing navigation - couldn't distinguish clickable elements from graphics

My Improvements
Logical structure - well-organized categories with unified UX across all sections
Modern design - updated interface while maintaining brand identity
"Smart Scan" feature - added one-click automatic cleanup function
Explanatory descriptions - added clear explanations for each category
Clear CTAs - visually emphasized key actions and buttons
